We've all heard of clean beauty, but what is it? Clean beauty is a term used to describe products that are free from potentially harmful chemicals and ingredients. These products can include everything from makeup to body care -- even your shampoo! The good news is that there are tons of specialty brands out there offering these types of products. Here are some of my favorite:

ilia

Ilia is a cruelty-free brand, meaning they don't test on animals. The brand offers a wide range of products including makeup and skincare. Their products are available in Sephora stores nationwide as well as online at iliabeauty.com. At the moment their mascara is my favorite and I have it both in full size and travel.

Caudalie

Caudalie is a French skincare brand that's been around since 1996 and focuses on using natural ingredients in their products. They're known for their antioxidant-rich formulas, which are formulated with grape water, polyphenols and resveratrol (a natural compound found in grapes). I don't exaggerate when I say that I cannot be without this amazing serum! Herbivore

Herbivore Botanicals is a vegan, cruelty-free, and organic beauty line based in Portland, Oregon. The brand uses ingredients like coconut oil and shea butter for its products. As it turns out, clean beauty products are not only great for your health, but they are also more environmentally friendly. The ingredients used in the production of these products are natural and non-toxic, meaning they won’t pollute our water sources or harm animals. Because they use fewer ingredients and create less waste, clean beauty products also cost less money to produce and distribute than their conventional counterparts. It's that time of the year! Time to set those goals, reset and start anew. I am so excited about this new year and all the accomplishments as well as goals that I want to achieve. Every year it's a tradition for me to create a vision board at the beginning of the year that I use as a form of manifestation. This year I created two vision boards, one that is online and the second one is a physical version of the online one. I am very visual and love the idea of seeing it everyday.

This time around I decided to add different things to my vision board for example I had never added inspirational quotes and I added a couple to inspire myself. I also added text to help me focus more on my vision as it allows my brain to visualize it. 

My color scheme and theme for my vision board are whites and neutrals as they help my mind feel at ease. I also want to mainly focus on gratitude and being thankful for even the smallest blessings in life. As well as health and mental health that is really important for everyone. These beautiful pearl nails have been the most viral nail trend on Tik Tok and of the moment. Hailey Bieber started this amazing trend that is so easy to achieve at home and with minimal steps. If you don't have experience in doing nails, no need to worry as this is beginner friendly.

First you want to start off with a milky white color after you have applied your base coat. This one is a gel color by Born Pretty that is perfect as the base color for the pearl effect. Link to purchase

Second would be the most important part that is the chrome powder. Once you are done with the milky nail polish you want to use a top coat. Once you apply a top coat you can easily dip your finger into the powder and rub it on your nail for the chrome effect. Once you've done that apply top coat once more and cure. You are all done and ready to go.

As you can see this is a very simple nail trend that anyone can achieve. 

Can you believe we are already half way though March? Time is flying this year! I wanted to share my 2022 Designer Wishlist for this year, I don't go by trends but pieces that are classic and I could style in various ways.

The first in this list isn't in any particular order. This Versace Medusa Dress is the perfect little black dress that has just the right amount of detailing with a touch of the classic Medusa hardware. This dress can be styled in various ways with it's elegant silhouette.

When it come's to scents I like to stick with what I find as classic and elegant perfumes. My usual go to Rose perfume would be Roses De Chloe by Chloe. I found out about this beauty by watching one of Hrush top 40 favorites where she originally mentioned Aerin Tuberose and I saw this one on the recommended below on Saks. I love anything and everything Rose so I am excited to add this to my collection.

This Alexander Wang Mule is a must have as it looks extremely comfortable with padded soles. As you can see I mostly choose black as it can always be styled in numerous ways. This Mule can be dressed up or dressed down with a pair of Jeans. 

Another Alexander Wang favorite that I adore. I first saw these shoes on the amazing and talented Chaelin aka CL. Fun fact her and Alexander Wang are great friends and he's slowly becoming one of my favorite designer as my style evolves. These PVC studded sling back sandals are great to give an edge to your look.

 This beautiful small Loulou Matelasse leather bag is one of my favorites from Saint Laurent. I already own it in black but would love to add this to my collection as it goes well with different colors. What I mostly enjoy about this shoulder bag that it fits so much! It might look small but it's mighty.
