Easy Monkey Bread

Ingredients

3 Cans of Biscuits

3/4 cup of white granulated sugar

3 tsp. or 1 tbsp of cinnamon

3/4 cup of melted butter

3/4 cup of Brown sugar

How to make this Easy Monkey Bread

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F (176 C). Combine cinnamon and granulated sugar in a large bowl and set aside.

Step 2

Use store-bought biscuit dough. Then cut the dough up in chunks roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in size. Next, dump those into the cinnamon and sugar and make sure they get nice and coated.

Step 3

In a small bowl melt the butter in the microwave. Or optionally use a pot and melt the butter on the stovetop. Pour the brown sugar in the butter and whisk to combine. This is going to make that monkey bread nice and gooey.

Step 4

Add the biscuit dough chunks into a bundt cake pan which has been sprayed with some sort of kitchen spray or use shortening on it. You could also use a muffin pan if you like and put 3 to 4 pieces in each one.

Step 5

Pour the brown sugar and butter sauce all over it. Then bake it in the oven at 350 F (176 C) for 30 to 35 minutes until nice and golden brown on top.

Step 6

Cool for 15 minutes. Flip it over onto a plate and enjoy!

Easy Garlic Roasted Potatoes

3 pounds small red or white potatoes

1/4 cup good olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons minced garlic (6 cloves)

2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

How to make Easy Garlic Roasted Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Cut the potatoes in half or quarters and place in a bowl with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic; toss until the potatoes are well coated.

Transfer the potatoes to a sheet pan and spread out into 1 layer. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until browned and crisp.

Flip twice with a spatula during cooking in order to ensure even browning.

Remove the potatoes from the oven, toss with parsley, season to taste, and serve hot.

Easy Lemon Pepper Corn

Ingredients

6 ears of corn

⅓ cup butter

2 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1-2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning, to taste

1/2 tsp garlic powder

pinch salt

How to make Easy Lemon Pepper Corn

If the husks are still on the corn, peel them off and remove any excess silk that sticks to the corn kernels.

Place the ears of corn on a plate or baking sheet, slice the lemon in half and drizzle a bit of its juice over the kernels, rotating it as you go. Repeat on each ear of corn.

Now sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the entire surface, again, rotating the cob as you go. (Be generous, but don’t get so enthusiastic, that it will be too strong.)

Preheat the grill, drizzle the corn with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

When the grill is very hot, add the corn. You should hear a sizzling sound — if you don’t, the grill isn’t hot enough. Wait for the sizzle! Grill until each side is nicely charred and the corn is tender, about 8 minutes. (If it’s becoming too charred, turn down the heat and loosely cover the corn with foil until it’s ready.)

Divide the butter among the 4 ears of corn, spreading it evenly. Serve!
